Welcome and leave

Greet new members and optionally announce when someone leaves. You can use template variables like {user} and {server}.

Recommended setup

Enable Welcome (and Leave if needed) on the dashboard Modules page or with /modules set.
Open the Welcome dashboard page to set channel templates, DMs, and autorole — or use /welcome and /leave slash commands.
Run /welcome preview (and /leave preview if used) before going live.

`/welcome toggle`

Turns welcome messages on or off.

Use the dashboard Welcome page for channel and DM templates in one place.

`/welcome channel`

Sets where join messages are posted.

`/welcome message`

Sets the text template for welcome messages.

`/welcome preview`

Shows what the welcome message will look like without posting it publicly.

`/welcome status`

Shows welcome channel, template, and whether welcomes are enabled.

`/leave toggle`

Turns leave messages on or off.

`/leave channel`

Sets where leave messages are posted.

`/leave message`

Sets the text template when someone leaves.

`/leave preview`

Previews the leave message privately.

`/leave status`

Shows leave settings.

`/autorole toggle`

Turns automatic role assignment on join on or off.

`/autorole set`

Lists roles to give new members. Use role names, IDs, or @mentions separated by commas.

`/autorole delay`

Waits this many seconds after join before assigning roles (helps catch instant-leave bots).

`/autorole bots`

Whether bot accounts also receive autoroles when they join.

`/autorole status`

Shows autorole settings and which roles are assigned.
