FAQ
Common questions
Quick answers about adding Caelum, setup, modules, and data handling.
What is Caelum?
Caelum is a multipurpose Discord bot for moderation, logging, welcome messages, tickets, automod, leveling, giveaways, and related server tools. You enable only the modules your server needs.
Is Caelum free?
Caelum includes free features today. Paid or premium features may be added later. We will describe pricing before any charge applies to your server.
How do I add Caelum to my server?
Click Add to Discord on this site, choose your server, and approve the requested permissions. After the bot joins, run /setup in Discord to configure admin roles, logging, and optional modules.
What does /setup do?
/setup is the onboarding wizard for new servers. It walks staff through admin and mod roles, a log channel, and optional welcome, autorole, and engagement modules.
Can I disable modules I do not use?
Yes. Use /modules set in Discord to turn individual modules on or off per server. Core diagnostics and permissions stay available.
Does Caelum use prefix commands?
No. Caelum is slash-first for normal use. Staff and members interact through Discord slash commands such as /setup, /permissions audit, and module-specific commands.
What data does Caelum store?
Caelum stores guild configuration, moderation cases, audit logs, and module data needed for enabled features. If you log in to the dashboard, it also stores a Discord OAuth session. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Who runs my data?
Caelum operates the bot and this website. For privacy requests, see the Privacy Policy or contact us using the details listed there.
