Reaction roles

Discord reaction roles: let members self-assign roles by reacting to a message. Use the dashboard guided setup to compose and post a role message, or bind emoji mappings on existing messages with /reactionrole add.

  1. Enable Reaction roles on the dashboard Modules page or with /modules set.
  2. Use the dashboard Reaction roles setup wizard to compose and post a role message (recommended), or run /reactionrole add on an existing message.
  3. Confirm Caelum has Manage Roles and sits above any role it assigns in the server's role list.

/reactionrole add

Links an emoji on a message to a role.

Run in the message channel or pass message_id and channel.

/reactionrole list

Lists all reaction-role messages and mappings.

/reactionrole remove

Removes one emoji mapping or clears an entire reaction-role message.

Pass emoji to drop one mapping; omit emoji to clear the whole message.
